@moonheart_db Im not sure.. in lmk there were at least one scene in 3 season when the pigsy sang and it looked like macaque is in pain because of this sound. But idk it was too short and it never bringed back, so is it canon?? Maybe.. i called it headcanon just for simplicity

@moriorr oh!! instead of acronyms like swk, we usually use their given names with their species or by using their most famous title 🤔 e.g. sun wukong is usually called 悟空 (wukong) or 大聖 (great sage) while six eared macaque is simply referred to as 六耳 (liu'er)

can someone who speaks Chinese say how do yall call sun wu kong and six eared macaque? And how do you shorten their names? like i know how they are pronounced but im wondering how do write them in characters Im curious bc im learning Chinese!
