Marxist-adjacent decel can be very tempting but at the risk of a very wrong kind of cybernetics (not negative feedback but something far worse).

It turns out aestheticized serotonin-depleted romantic doomerism (i.e., transcendental miserablism) is not a good foundation for philosophy or life strategy.

Hundreds of millions of people throughout the world are immersed in extreme poverty. Yet, disproportionate wealth remains in the hands of a few. It is an unjust scenario, in the face of which we cannot fail to question ourselves and commit to change things. There is no lack of resources at the root of disparities, but the need to address solvable problems related to a more equitable distribution of wealth, to be achieved with moral sense and honesty.

True joy is found by cracking the rules of the game. In the moment where you seem to trick the system or at the very least catch a glimpse of its downfall by seeing the confused face of the people that uphold rules. Love the cracks and don’t shy away from them. This is sorcery

So why play at all? Well, because we are violently forced to play and perversly enjoy it to some extent Yet, regular play doesn't create true joy, but a perverse kind that never exceeds the boundaries of the rulebook. At work, people are seldomly happy. Create friction

1/5 Time’s arrow only moves forward because time is the adding of layers onto reality. There is only one way something can be added and that is by being added. Nothing can be fully destroyed, things can only be positively changed, forward-facing, towards variation.
