Today was a milestone day in our fight to #KeepCBUWrestling and #keepcbuswimdive Our coalition has partnered with the American Sports Council to file a petition with the Department of Education to reform how Title IX is enforced. Title IX was originally created to ensure no person is denied educational opportunities on the basis of sex—but over time, enforcement has expanded far beyond that clear standard, creating confusion and inconsistency for schools and student-athletes. Our petition calls for restoring clarity, fairness, and accountability—including ensuring Title IX is applied in a way that protects opportunities, respects due process, and provides consistent rules for institutions to follow. Right now, shifting interpretations and unclear guidance have left schools making decisions that impact entire programs and athletes without transparency or consistency. This is about getting Title IX back to what it was meant to do: protect equal opportunity—not eliminate it. We’re just getting started. #KeepCBUWrestling #KeepCBUSwimDive

University of Wisconsin–Green Bay is exploring adding Division I wrestling. AD Josh Moon says the school is actively evaluating it, citing a strong recruiting base, donor potential, and regional fit. Nothing finalized yet — but this is real momentum for a new program.

Big 12 programs showed up united today. Coaches and athletes from every institution wore Keep Cal Baptist Wrestling shirts in support of the program — standing together for the sport despite competing against one another this weekend.

Spoke with @Keepcbuwrestle today at the Big 12 tournament. Their message for wrestling fans is something I think a lot of people need to hear.
