I am a fucking marmot.

@cirnosad America may actually be the great satan, but a White nation aligning with chinabugmen is literal insanity Of course, Australia is ceasing to be a White country in real time, right before our eyes

As a Taiwanese, may I inform you: 1) The Chinese word for "antiquity," 古, can refer to anything down to 19th c 2) Only 216 yrs? So longer than most US states have been in the Union? 3) Nobody thinks Han ppl originated in TW. Which fan fiction is this?

Xia Dynasty: No Taiwan Shang Dynasty: No Taiwan Zhou Dynasty: No Taiwan Qin Dynasty: No Taiwan Han Dynasty: No Taiwan Three Kingdoms: No Taiwan Jin Dynasty: No Taiwan Sui Dynasty:No Taiwan Tang Dynasty: No Taiwan Song Dynasty: No Taiwan Yuan Dynasty: No Taiwan Ming Dynasty: No Taiwan Qing Dynasty: Annexed Taiwan (Formosa) in 1683; lost to Japan in 1895. Republic of China: Received Taiwan back from Japan in 1945; administration split from Mainland China (PRC) in 1949. PRC: No. In sum, Taiwan was under Chinese rule for a grand total of 212 years under Qing Dynasty and 4 years under ROC, which funny enough, PRC does not recognize as legitimate China. That’s a total of 216 years. In a history that runs more than 4,000 years. By the way, the Qing government, the only regime that actually held Taiwan, isn’t seen in a terribly positive light by the CCP. So no, Taiwan has NOT “belonged to China since antiquity.” And if you make the argument that the Han originated in Taiwan, then the Rus originated in Kiev. If anything, that says China belongs to Taiwan and Russia to Ukraine. But that’s not how belonging works.

If Trump keeps acting like the leader of an imperial rogue state, more and more countries will begin to lean towards China, which will be perceived as the more rational, peaceful, rules-abiding great power. What could be worse for long-term American national interests?

🇺🇸🇬🇧 Two U.S. Air Force AC-130J Ghostrider gunships arrived at RAF Mildenhall Jan. 3–6, alongside a surge of C-17 flights into RAF Fairford, per open-source tracking, suggesting contingency prep for SOF missions; purpose unconfirmed. armyrecognition.com/news/aerospace…

Man that Venezuela stuff made me feel so good, can we coup another authoritarian government please. I need to feel that hit again.

One thing I won't tolerate is people making fun of the Danish military. They were with us in Iraq and Afghanistan, and in Afghanistan they fought hard and were in the thick of it in Helmand province. I don't know what they did Iraq, but I doubt they were slackers. The Danes in Afghanistan mostly fought under the British, so perhaps few Americans there saw what they were up to, which is a shame. I recall reading a wonderful book about British Army ops called "6 Para," which related an intense battle fought by the Brits at one outpost. They had among them a female Danish soldier who crewed a machine gun and was a stone cold killer.

@greegle_mudzone So I’m not an expert on this era and I wish my friend who was would restart his account. But all modern white Euros and Iranians for example are descended, even if only from Y dna, from Aryan steppe nomads who killed masses of Euro neolithic/Anatolian farmers, no?
