I held $LYX for several years. Yesterday, I sold 90% of my holdings at the all-time low, taking a loss of over $50,000. But I don’t regret it, because the LUKSO team is not a team that knows how to seize opportunities. Over the years, they kept talking about grand narratives while ignoring real market demand. Whenever the market changed, they always hesitated, lacking the fast execution that truly great companies should have. But during all those years holding LUKSO, it actually led me to discover Zcash, and that may end up being the greatest value LUKSO ever gave me. When I completely lost faith in LUKSO, I suddenly realized something: LUKSO has always pursued the idea of putting identity on-chain and making all transaction history publicly unified. The result? The market simply didn’t care. So I started wondering: what if the exact opposite approach is the right one? What if true anonymity, selective disclosure of transaction data, and real privacy protection are what people actually need? That’s when I discovered Zcash. After studying it deeply, I realized that the logic behind Zcash reflects real market demand far better. A completely transparent on-chain ledger fundamentally conflicts with real-world commercial needs. That’s why, no matter how LUKSO changes, I believe its ending is already decided. Meanwhile, $ZEC has already risen more than tenfold over the past year and could potentially become the next Bitcoin. In my view, Zcash represents what blockchain was always supposed to become.

@2100zec I’m not saying zcash isn’t a decent project but selling $LYX at basically bottom for zcash that if we head lower in the market Lukso doesn’t have much room to go down. Z cash will fall off a cliff. Lukso needs one good partnership or some bullish news and it will explode easily.

Whether a coin goes up or not does not depend on whether its market cap is low enough. The reason Zcash performed so strongly is because the market increasingly sees privacy as a real user necessity and a genuine use case. The continuous decline and new lows of $LYX are precisely because LUKSO’s vision of unified, fully public cross-chain identity has not been accepted by the market — because almost nobody truly wants all of their information to be publicly unified forever. Think about it: if you used Universal Profile to record all your transaction history, and in the future stablecoin-based everyday payment scenarios were also recorded on-chain without optional privacy, then even something as personal as buying a condom could become a permanently recorded and publicly visible transaction. Would people really accept that model? I used to think agents would need this kind of system to prove reliability and enable commercialization. But later I realized it doesn’t work there either. If an agent’s high-frequency trading records are also publicly unified, other agents could easily analyze and distill those strategies through transaction history. That would be devastating. That’s why I sold most of my LYX and converted it into $ZEC.

@2100zec I think with a real altcoin season $Lyx has way more room for upside compared to zcash based on the fact it’s already done a 30-40x already. Lukso is an easy 100x once everything is in place and we see altcoins move!

@morrrich18 The problem with LUKSO is that it never changes, no matter how the market evolves. A company like that will never be able to seize opportunities, no matter how low its market cap becomes.

The main reason for $LYX rising is basically that a few more suckers have entered the market. At this point, LUKSO can finally start selling tokens again. Without sufficient liquidity, it’s a dead end — every pump just serves as an opportunity for LUKSO to sell more tokens.

In order to prepare Universal Profiles to become multi-chain, we are deploying the factory contracts on as many EVM chains as possible. So I yesterday took the task to get the gas token of as many EVM chains as I could. The Venerable @yourfriendSOMMI shouting out #LUKSO @lukso_io $LYX The community is very much still around, and I couldn't agree more, buying $LYX right now is essentially free money  💸 The insanely low price is largely a result of bad timing, it's been exclusively brutal market conditions for alt coins since it's launch $LYX has yet to see a real Alt Season, and once we go into price discovery under bullish market conditions, it's going to get crazy FYI - the old pre-mainnet $LYXE token, which did experience an alt season, ran up to $40 very fast, almost entirely on speculation Now we're sitting at under $0.29 per $LYX, with a supply of only 30M, a disgustingly low $9M market cap, and now a built out product in Universal Profiles 🆙 that's miles ahead of any identity solution in the space founded by the Ethereum OG dev who, amongst other accomplishments, authored the ERC-20 standard that a lot of the Crypto space is built on seems pretty obvious to me 👀
