this perspective makes absolute sense to have as an American bc we generally dgaf abt fútbol in the slightest when we got other major sports to be invested in (🏈⚾️🏀) lmao so the soccer demographic is mostly LatAm immigrants or the occasional stray white guy as described below

I'm sorry to spiral on main but I'm so upset. This picture was taken when I was 4 and living with my sister. my mom briefly sent me to live with my dad's 19 year old daughter. It wasn't until I was 20 that my sister told me how neglected I was when she got me. she had to cut my hair to get the lice out. My ear piercings were so infected that she had to put me in a cold bath to break the fever. I wouldn't eat anything without asking her first, even though she told me I didn't have to ask and basically begged me to stop. Now I'm learning that a few months after this photo, when I was back with my mom, I went so long without eating that I went into ketosis. How many more new things am I going to have to remember and heal from
