@USGeocaching #USGeocachingHour A10. There was a 4-stage multicache where the first and final stages were just 15 feet apart. I got all the stages and found that I could've just skipped to the final if I was in on the joke.
English

Q10: Wednesday is April Fools.
Tell us about a time you were fooled by a cache, be it container you weren’t expecting, a hiding style you weren’t familiar with when you started caching that now would seem obvious, or something else.

@USGeocaching #USGeocachingHour A9. I usually use one of those free TD Bank pens.
English

Q9: Today is National Pencil Day.
When signing a log book, what is your preferred writing utensil? A pencil? Pen? Marker? Twig lying on the ground? Or do you mix it up depending on the situation? What determines your choice?

@USGeocaching #USGeocachingHour A8. Not really into collecting. However, I tend to keep any pathtags or geocoins that I win in event raffles.
English

Q8: What geocaching items do you like collecting? (Cacher trading cards, pathtags, TB's, autographs, etc )
#USGeocachingHour (legacy Q from March 2016)
English

@USGeocaching #USGeocachingHour A7. It fits somewhat. The first three weeks of March were tough for me with crazy problems to tackle. Thankfully this week and the previous one were relatively quiet.
English

Q7: The old proverb says March comes in like a lion and out like a lamb. With only one day left in the month, would you say that proverb was true this year?

@USGeocaching #USGeocachingHour A6. D/T rating. That tells me the most about what I can expect.
English

Q6: This or that: Attributes, Favourite Points, or D/T rating. Which are you more likely to look at when trying to decide on a cache to go find?

@USGeocaching #USGeocachingHour A5. I have to admit I tend to skip past the attributes when reading the cache page. It's just visual noise to me. However, I do go back and check the attributes if something else looks like trouble.
English

Q5: HQ recently made a post “Why geocaching attributes matter”. Do they matter to you? How much attention do you pay to attributes when you’re caching?

@USGeocaching #USGeocachingHour A2. I think I attended one such event at a local library last year. Basically a show and tell of some creative caches. Haven't seen one on the calendar yet this year.
English

Q2: In April, Maker Magic is returning to #geocaching. Have you attended one of these events in the past, and are there any scheduled for your area?
#USGeocachingHour

English

@USGeocaching #USGeocachingHour A1. No, there hasn't been any snow around here for a while. Even the dirty-looking piles of ice have gone away.
English

Q1: Who’s here tonight? And an ice breaker question: is there any snow left anywhere in your area? #USGeocachingHour
English

@USGeocaching @KennyMasonMady #USGeocachingHour A12. Car, since I've most been going for urban or suburban caches or adventure labs anyway. In a few cities, I've used public transit to get to caches.
English

@USGeocaching @KennyMasonMady #USGeocachingHour A11. Afternoon. I usually don't leave home early enough to cache in the morning.
English

@USGeocaching @KennyMasonMady #USGeocachingHour A10. Probably social since I go to events more than I actually find caches nowadays. Maybe a bit of a souvenir hound.
English

@USGeocaching @KennyMasonMady #USGeocachingHour A9a. By the way, finding a cache instantly after a long drive sounds like a great problem to have. More time to look around and appreciate what that area is good for.
English

@USGeocaching @KennyMasonMady #USGeocachingHour A9. I've had terrible experiences with ticks. There was a particular spot in the pine barrens where my legs were suddenly covered in ticks. I've stopped going to most caching areas because of ticks.
English

Q9. #USGeocachingHour
@KennyMasonMady
**Should be Instantly make a find after a 30+ min drive**

English

@USGeocaching @KennyMasonMady #USGeocachingHour A8. Tough one. I can deal with a nano if it is hidden in a way that I have a chance of finding it. Puzzle - it depends on the kind of puzzle.
English

@USGeocaching @KennyMasonMady #USGeocachingHour A1. Weekend was okay. Got the equinox souvenir. Unfortunately, I spent a large part of it thinking about something I had to do on Monday, which turned out to be a nothingburger.
English

Q1: In classic March Madness style with Men and Women's college basketball happening right now, we are doing a themed #USGeocachingHour with your host @KennyMasonMady. Who is joining us tonight and how was your weekend?

English

@USGeocaching @KennyMasonMady #USGeocachingHour A7. Ammo can, especially if you can somehow find a way to place it in an urban setting.

English

@USGeocaching @KennyMasonMady #USGeocachingHour A6. I prefer waterfront or urban. As I get older, I do appreciate that areas like those often have other interesting things to do beyond finding the geocache.
English

@USGeocaching @KennyMasonMady #USGeocachingHour A5. I like traditional caches. Most of the time, I don't want to be encumbered by a puzzle, multiple stages, or earthcache homework. Just find it, sign the log, and be done.
