@m1jaru it's specific to everyone's use case and is def not for everyone there's an ideological aspect as mentioned in other replies, and that did motivate me to jump through hoops i might not have otherwise, but those are some of the ways it is actually practically better for me

@m1jaru certain hardware (audio interface, graphics tablet) Just Works in a way I never could get it to on windows Generally better performing across the board, especially less prone to bloat/slowdown over time

im not planning on switching to linux but i just wanna know why do people switch to linux. no one has really given me a concrete answer

@miziziziz I'm set up with davincibox atm and it was/is fairly painless (studio w/ NVIDIA card), took a bit of going off-road to get standalone fusion in the same container though biggest pain point for me right now is no vst support github.com/zelikos/davinc…
