@mosessmax Been reading the convo and I wonder if having homegrown DJs would change the fact that it’s expensive and not affordable to a lot of people who are ravers from this side. And if it’s about representation, it’s their genre, and their call. Also, we have events doing differently.

Lagos rave conversations shift every week, it’s fascinating. One week, we’ll say we don’t need international DJs headlining, the next we’re annoyed the events that choose to bring international DJs are expensive & then the week after, it’s that homegrown DJs aren’t featured.
