@DoroisDoro After a quick search I think the style I have in mind is definitely better served through formats more dynamic than visual/text memes but these are the closest to what I'm gesturing at, all except the first are from @/affirmations on Instagram

@DoroisDoro It's a little too restrained for me, I like a flavor that is more clown-y and makes the audience uncomfortable through a really highly escalated bit Probably harder to do in compact visual/text memes, I'm gonna see if I can find an example that does it

The current culture yearns for nonsense. A lot of that desire is getting channeled into defensive nonsense, is there a role for generative nonsense?

I love this interview between Kate Berlant and Nathan Fielder, two absurd comedians, where they talk about the exposure of Berlant's surreal comedy: BERLANT: ... the show’s very vulnerable for me, and I think that, in many ways, it reveals a lot about myself. Sometimes I’m surprised by, or just really interested in, any kind of reaction that gestures towards some kind of disappointment that I didn’t really reveal myself.
