@JackPerksPhoto They're a 'Bentie' in Shetland. Rescued half a dozen from a dried stream a few years ago and they are now breeding well in the garden ponds.

I remember reading somewhere that sticklebacks have the most regional names of any fish in Britain but I'm struggling to find any online what do you call this fish locally?

Interesting view of the Octopus's colour change - apparently white is stress or a warning. I picked one up once that an Otter had left behind (minus a few tentacles) and put it back in the sea, and it changed colour within a second. Amazing animals

Great views of the rare Purple Heron in Shetland (last live one seen 1982 I believe). It was seen catching a few eels this afternoon.
