@canonplag Honestly, if they truly were just criticizing DC John’s vers then yes, I think it’s fine to bring Zatanna and her mistreatment into the conversation (which I have my own strong opinions about). However, making classist comments on John’s character as a whole is just…weird.

@canonplag It’s wrong to criticize based on a version of him that takes some aspects of who he originally was and exaggerates them or completely misinterprets while leaving out the truly flawed and ugly bits that made him so interesting. Vertigo Constantine represents so many deeper themes.
