@highfivejohn Ya, in order to keep these fast and efficient, file sizes need to be small. You could technically create in C4D but would need to pre-render those assets to make it work. Love the idea of Unreal, seems like they’re aiming for real time broadcast. Most of this is aimed at social.

@motion_jp I notice a lot of .mogrt stuff is based in an AE/2.5D design aesthetic for simplicity. Are there are any good techniques for incorporating 3D/C4D/UE into this pipeline?

Your MOGRT should be as simple as possible with the most capabilities jammed into the EGP UI. Sliders adjust assets horizontally when 16x9, and adjusts vertically when in 9x16. Don't put up with duplicate elements, or even worse, a different MOGRT file for each format!

@shauna_howell1 Thread of GOLD right here…definitely can relate to all of this! My triggers are the same, usually after a few busy months (hello Fall). Sometimes just working on a small part of the project and shrinking my focus helps because once you feel good about one part, the rest follows!

I’ve been in a creative rut for a while, and every project has been a bit of a struggle. We tend to make creative block feel super mysterious, but there’s usually something concrete at the root of it. Here are a few things that contribute (for me), and some solutions: (1/6)🧵⬇️

@AlexKopilow @njh287 Man, this is the kind of homer attitude I used to get annoyed about when working at a team. Your fans know the final score, but not sharing their voice in heartbreak, disappointment, or frustration over the result, you lose trust. There’s a story to tell, and hiding isn’t it!

Love seeing this all over the TL and most who've worked in social think it's a trash take Even beyond the sponsor obligations, it's so often said countless times — vocal peeved fans are good. Fear silence & apathy. Social can't control wins/losses, but they wanna make fans care
