I am afraid I cannot stop reflecting & commenting on what I feel & what needs to be said out loud & clear!
It is tragic indeed to see our lovely city bleeding in front of our own eyes due to timid & lacklustre leadership at multiple levels (not all), an absolute lack of understanding of the big picture & its challenges and the inability to carve out & articulate any solid road map or bouquet of short/medium/long term solutions.
It is this foundation of commercially oriented timidity on which the decay of Dehradun and death of its people is being written.
If this trajectory is not course corrected & continues on the same path, it's no rocket science that this will only get worst & far more dangerous for the people of Dehradun & elsewhere.
I appeal to all; the state govt, its leaders, all senior officials & their associates, businesses large & small, media & intelligentsia and most importantly the people of our city & state to agree to collectively work on a better & more secure future. Without sincere acknowledgement of ground realities & people concerns, we will continue to lament & languish. This needs to change & change for the better!
