She definetely tried her best to be welcoming to the idea that im Trans. This was absolutely a culture shock she didn't want but after reassuring her i was not getting bottom surgery that seemed to ease her into the idea. What suprised me was being okay with dressing as myself

the teenage experience for me was that, no matter what i did or how hard i tried, i could never live up to being a “guy”, and it’s a failure that opens you up to relentless ostracisation and mockery until you eventually give up trying and just become a sad husk of a person.
