@LyconVR @CamsAvis polygon count is negligible for performance even if its a skinned mesh. the only time polygon count is a concern is if the mesh has shape keys 👇 (it took over 15 minutes just to import the 1M mesh with shape keys)

It's difficult to fight against VRC's performance rating system. I have to find the balance between real world perf and the perf that VRChat reports holistically. People tend to judge models using VRC's perf stats but they just don't tell nearly the whole story. 🙄

@EsonAdventures what I've done is make a composite of an image with environment visible, avatars invisible and AO on, then stack an image with avatars visible, environment invisible and AO off
