We need Jesus every moment of every day. Instead of trying to be your own “Jesus,” turn to Him. I need Him. You need Him. And He is faithful.

Are you just familiar with Jesus, or do you really know Him? It’s not enough to just be familiar with Him. Believe in Him. Trust Him. Know Him as Savior and Lord. Follow Him.

Jesus is the promised Messiah! He saves. He sets us free from our prison of sin. He opens our spiritual eyes. He heals our broken relationship with the Father in heaven. He blesses us with His grace! Trust Him today.

We’re often advised: Don’t miss the opportunity; Don’t miss the forest for the trees; or Don’t miss the boat. Let’s think about this tomorrow @mpbclife: Don’t miss Jesus! We’d love to see you.

The enemy will tempt us daily, yet through Christ, we are able to overcome! However, there will be times when we will fail and give in to sin. When we do, run to Jesus. He forgives us of all our sin & “cleanses us from all unrighteousness.” Hallelujah! What a Savior!

As we are tempted, remember Jesus is praying for you. As He was tempted, yet never sinned, He understands our weakness, and intercedes for us. We are “more than conquerors through Him.” Run to Him.

Run to Jesus. He enables you as a believer to overcome temptation by the power of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit now lives in you and that power is resurrection power.

When tempted, run to Jesus. He is the Truth and in Him we find true satisfaction and contentment.

Sometimes when people fail the Lord, it is said, “the devil made me do it.” That’s not true. He tempts. You decide. Let’s talk about how we face temptation & overcome through Jesus as we gather tomorrow @mpbclife. We’d love to see you there, after “springing forward” tonight.

There are some who think Jesus was just a great teacher, or philosopher, or leader. Some may think He’s just made up. But who is He really? Let’s hear from the Word of God & worship Him tomorrow @mpbclife. We’d love to see you!

There is no greater wonder than this: Holy God stepped out of heaven, set aside His heavenly glory, emptying Himself, & came as a human to rescue, redeem & reconcile us to Himself. He is Jesus, the Lamb of God who takes away our sin! Be in awe & go tell others about Him today!

Only Jesus can fix the sin problem & give a new heart, a new nature & a new life. When you turn to Jesus from sin & trust Him by faith, the Holy Spirit comes & dwells in you. You are then enabled to live the life of holiness He calls you to live. Trust & obey Him.

Repentance is a change of mind, heart & direction to God from sin. We all need to repent because we’re sinners who sin. Until we come to that realization, we cannot see clearly our need for salvation that is found only in Jesus. Repent & believe in Him.

Many today are looking for a new change, new start or new direction. The reality is what’s really needed is a “new beginning,” turning (or returning) to the Lord Jesus. Let’s talk about it tomorrow @mpbclife. We’d love to see you!

Whenever we notice that Jesus is not near, remember that He never left. We did. Don’t take one more step away from Him. Turn around & return to Him. He is searching and waiting for you.

We are a “busy” people, priding ourselves on our busyness. If not careful, our busyness can become a false god where we bow down to our activity, setting Jesus aside. Turn your attention to Jesus and bow down to Him, the One True Living God.

Going through “religious motions” may help us remember who the Lord is & what He’s done until they become routine & just ordinary procedure. Doing the same things, the same way “according to custom” may cause us to lose sight of Jesus. Be mindful to stay close to Him.

You may have heard of FOMO (fear of missing out), but have you heard of FOMJ (find our missing Jesus)? That’s what Mary & Joseph had in Luke 2:41-52. Do you? Let’s talk about it tomorrow @mpbclife. We’d love to see you!

Parents, you have the greatest impact on your children. It is your responsibility before God to set the foundation of knowing & obeying Him & His word as you have the stewardship of raising the kids that God has given you.
