Hey, @Transperth Not having a pop. After Saturday’s stabbing, would it make sense to step up police/security presence rather than stepping up your smartrider scanning? Surely, you’d think people would want to feel safe rather than showing they’ve enough credit to travel.

@TomMUFC8 Cucurella uses Head & Shoulders and isn’t prone to knots, unlike Calvert-Lewin who uses Aldi’s shampoo and could’ve been seriously injured by Martinez. Just going off what the PL’s response would likely be.

Fans of all clubs obviously feel hard done by and targeted, that’s normal, no issues with that feeling fans have. However, we have clear & consistent evidence of the differences when Man United are involved. It’s not hidden anymore. The club needs to call it out.
The Athletic | Football@TheAthleticFC

The VAR wanted a closer look at a potential hair pull by Dominic Calvert-Lewin on Marc Cucurella... Nothing doing. The Leeds United forward had his hair pulled by Manchester United Lisandro Martinez at Old Trafford — the Argentinian was shown a red card... 𝗣𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗽𝘂𝗹𝗹. Modern football.

Apparently a gang of youths pulled a kid off a bus in Joondalup and stabbed him. Ambulances and police everywhere.

@Ahead_of_Curve So of the 4,800 Parking bays at Joondulup they have 3 for EV charging and you think is a win for EVs? Really?

First Western Australian shopping centre to hand out ICEing fines. If you don’t ask, you don’t get. I (and many others) have been on to Lakeside Joondalup Shopping Centre for over 12 months asking them to repair the 2 broken AC charges near the cinemas. (One of the chargers near the post office is now down too. 🙄) It most certainly didn’t happen overnight but it is happening. Hopefully within a week or so, there will be 3 double 200kW Engie units energised and operational. Furthermore, a first for a WA Shopping Centre, Lakeside are going to be fining ICE cars that are parking (iceing) the EV bays. Thank you to everyone who has helped!

@TomMUFC8 It also shows the gulf between the top two sides and the rest of the PL, IMO. Not saying that gulf can’t be bridged, but on this display it’s clear.

Don’t say it often these days and definitely don’t want to highlight it with these two teams. However, this City and Liverpool match has actually been a good watch. It resembles a game of football ⚽️ #FACup

@mpearce_perth @TomMUFC8 Even when United is doing well there’s pressure. That’s the difference I’d rather see spurs go down tbh. Just the way they’ve handle everything over the last 20 years. Especially with Levy over the years even though he’s not there

@TomMUFC8 I thought that about us before Carrick came in. The right leadership can turn things round quickly. We know he doesn’t have the right leadership above him, so it depends how well he can shield his players from that.

@mpearce_perth I just think their current issue goes beyond managers, owners, players, they’re just in a spiral they can’t get out of.

@jbabz84 @TomMUFC8 Some said the same about Amorim. Idiot? Possibly. Time will show. I’d rather see another human go somewhere and succeed. It just feels more natural to want somebody to do well, doesn’t it?

@TomMUFC8 Greatest in the last 7-8 years? No. He’d be up there, though. Greatest in the PL? Outside the top 10. Arguably, top 20. That’s the thing with journalism, writing in general. The less you say, the more people can imagine.

I got the rejection email today. I didn't have any luck with the Australian Geographic photo comp this year. No need for sympathy. I'm used to it. It's very competitive. Here's one of my unsuccessful entries. A yellow-tailed rock wallaby at Boolcoomatta Reserve.

You can’t argue with Salah’s numbers. They brought success, so of course he goes down in history. But regarding his football ability, he is not even near a discussion of Premier League greats. Again, he doesn’t need the ability with numbers like that but stop this GOAT talk 🤦

@TomMUFC8 We needed that loss. It’ll bring a few players back down to earth. It’ll build character. Except. Dalot. incredibly poor again. On to the next one.

All I hope for is some maturity from fans here. Yes it was shit & we haven’t been “great” under Carrick but we’re going to lose football matches, just as the best teams do. Goldbridge is going to go hard for Carrick now & is the fanbase going to join in or have some respect…

To go from defending set pieces away at Everton like the most competent of defences you’ll see in the league to not having men on the posts is astounding. It’s a simple agreement with the football gods, no men on the posts defending a corner, you deserve to concede #mufc
