@NordicMom8 I’ve been in hospital for nearly 3 months with leukaemia and cry every day. It’ll pass.

@lieulieubell I don’t think there’s another cancer that offers no hope.

Oof 😓

Everyone who has been affected by pancreatic cancer has hope that things will change that earlier detection will happen that breakthroughs will be made in treatment and a cure will be found but nothing has really changed in the last 50 years #sethslegacy #PostItPurple4Seth

@Kay4cherubs @ThanksCancer The bone marrow biopsy terrifies me. The pain was so bad they had to stop then they tried about a week later under general anaesthetic. That was 4 days ago and it still hurts.
English

@mphosie @ThanksCancer I have it too. Diagnosed in 2021.
In 2022 they infused me with
immunotherapy (Rituxan) instead of chemo.
My white count went from 320 to 5!!
It's incurable, so I will have to be treated when the numbers go up. I am nearing that.
Bone marrow biop last week. Decision next Monday.
English

Turns out I now have leukaemia. Chemotherapy starts tomorrow. Looking at a lengthy hospital stay. @ThanksCancer, you bastard
English

@DebraDebra54us @ThanksCancer Oh bless her little heart. So glad she got through it.
English

@mphosie @ThanksCancer I’m so sorry. My niece had it at 3 yrs old. She is now in college. Wishing you nothing but the best.

@nicole_p92 @ThanksCancer How is your husband doing now?
English

@mphosie @ThanksCancer Husband had ALL, had a bone marrow transplant in '02. You got this. Take it one day at a time. Hope you have a care team in your family. You shouldn't do this alone. Blessings to you & sending you some strength.
English

@nicole_p92 @ThanksCancer My family is far away, but will come when they can. I have my partner and friends.
English

@KarenV35692848 @ThanksCancer Not yet. Just starting my induction therapy and willing it to hit home.
English

@elle_NM @ThanksCancer Thank you. How are you now?🥰
English

@mphosie @ThanksCancer I have AML and lived at the hospital for almost 10 months. It was brutal. I’m praying for you. Stay strong.
English

@mphosie @ThanksCancer So very sorry. Sending positive vibes your way

@beeleetee60 @kentish_made Why, if it’s true? I have had breast cancer twice and now leukaemia. I have met dozens of people going through the same thing and I have never seen a single person sail through it with such apparent ease. Her experience bears no relation to that of other cancer patients.
English

@mphosie I joined Twitter in 2015 when I was in hospital - there are lots of people on here who can help with questions etc. I found it good to talk to others who had similar experiences
English

@clfoxy1 That’s really kind and helpful to know. Thank you 🙏
English

@mphosie Yes, of course. I was diagnosed in 2015, had a bone marrow transplant the same year. Did relapse in 2019, took part in a medical trial in London and so far, so good ! 👍
I think treatments & research have made great progress since my diagnosis
