@NordicMom8 I’ve been in hospital for nearly 3 months with leukaemia and cry every day. It’ll pass.

I have been left out today. It feels shit. I try not to cry but it is hard. Will go to shower soon. I can then cry my eyes out.

@Kay4cherubs @ThanksCancer The bone marrow biopsy terrifies me. The pain was so bad they had to stop then they tried about a week later under general anaesthetic. That was 4 days ago and it still hurts.

@mphosie @ThanksCancer I have it too. Diagnosed in 2021. In 2022 they infused me with immunotherapy (Rituxan) instead of chemo. My white count went from 320 to 5!! It's incurable, so I will have to be treated when the numbers go up. I am nearing that. Bone marrow biop last week. Decision next Monday.

Turns out I now have leukaemia. Chemotherapy starts tomorrow. Looking at a lengthy hospital stay. @ThanksCancer, you bastard

@beeleetee60 @kentish_made Why, if it’s true? I have had breast cancer twice and now leukaemia. I have met dozens of people going through the same thing and I have never seen a single person sail through it with such apparent ease. Her experience bears no relation to that of other cancer patients.

Royal propaganda machine made the world believe that Kate had cancer. She didn't. Precancerous cells are world's away from actually having cancer, yet they thought it appropriate to play the sympathy card when the popularity of the Royal family is at an all-time low. That's low.

@mphosie I joined Twitter in 2015 when I was in hospital - there are lots of people on here who can help with questions etc. I found it good to talk to others who had similar experiences

Been giving my diet a bit of an overhaul recently, trying to up my protein intake. Few things from Home Bargains to try - every item was under £1.

@mphosie Yes, of course. I was diagnosed in 2015, had a bone marrow transplant the same year. Did relapse in 2019, took part in a medical trial in London and so far, so good ! 👍 I think treatments & research have made great progress since my diagnosis
