I told the Florida Chamber that sending our kids to economics school is a disservice to our kids. Economics curriculum teaches free market principles. Government manipulates economic forces for political purposes. "If we want our kids to stay ahead of economic fluctuations it is better to send them to political science school." Getting themselves and their friends elected to public office is more reliable than an understanding of economic principles.
