I missed this was produced with mplsoccer. Now I think its even easier to do this as @ChicagoDmitry added support for custom labels.

Finally! 🤯 My app to visualize the shots taken and shots on target in the Copa Libertadores is live. My dataset has over 1,500 records. Take a look and give me feedback. Thanks to @mplsoccer_dev for an incredible package.

While creating my shot map app for the Copa Libertadores, I got stuck here 👇. I got the players' teams and then compared it to the match URL to get the home and away team. I can finally move forward. My data frame feels finally complete. 🤝

An own goal gives you NaN value on xG and can break your shot-tracing app on @mplsoccer_dev. Make sure to clean up your data so you don't waste time debugging.
