I am very disappointed in not getting my fave local trad brew Indlovu aka Lotion AKA Calabash brewed by @CityofBulawayo giants @Ingwebuzw . I have been to @PicknPay Northend, Zonkizizwe and other smaller grocery shops to no avail. Every year when I land in #Skies I score at least 2 “crates” to take back to Harare to share with Sekuru Manu and his fellow Garden techs including Peter Kazado who work along my street. It is creamier and easier on the palate and goes down well when nicely chilled. Have @Ingwebuzw gone out of business ,or? As I said in 2024. Indlovu Beer is way ahead of all the brands I’ve taste tested including Chibuku, and Nyati. Oh ,and whatever happened to Pungwe ,Go Beer ,Simba and Rufaro Mhamba brewed in @CityofMutare ,@GweruC ,@KwekweCouncil and @cityofharare2 respectively? I did ask my friend @JMafume about Rufaro Breweries in 2023 and I remember him telling me plans were in the pipeline to revive council beer halls which,back in the day generated much needed revenue for the city council.
