@EFCLyndon Been trying to let the hours pass, but I am seething. I may genuinely hate Moyes. We will never be bad, but never be great. That’s his mentality and thus our experience.
English

You can’t, as a manager, blame results on not getting penalties, especially when the incidents in question didn’t directly prevent your team from scoring. You’ve got to make your own luck in football and in all of the games in question, we had points in hand that we threw away

@TheBlueFrontier We are no longer good at anything. Chance creation is season-long issue, but now don’t control in midfield (after tying!!!), give up set pieces, Summerville punked us. Keane didn’t individually do wrong, but we play diff w that CB duo. Riding fine margins too long this year
English

@ccarlsononSU Not a talent evaluator, and I'd think the kid doesn't want to redshirt, but Moesch is VERY good (and played high level opposition in HS) and would love for him to follow G-Mac.
English

@EFCLyndon Respectfully, he usually offers nothing insightful as an analyst, but that was a solid observation
English

@TheBlueFrontier Beto the right choice for a Chelsea game. Bully ball. Great collective work rate, better from Jake at RB, and Chelsea beat themselves. Haven’t seen Moyes that happy maybe ever
English

@TheBlueFrontier Lineup, ugh. aggression and attempt to play, better. Corners, variety-less. Passes, slightly wayward. Two striker sub, why? I can live with a 1-0 loss with that budget discrepancy and the approach, as disjointed and limited as it was.
English

@AdamKilgoreWP Been thinking about you, very sorry for all the poor decisions affecting you. Good luck with the new gig, hope smarter people try to fix things at some point.

The Seahawks had hammered the Patriots for the entirety of Super Bowl LX, a mix of superior planning and brute force. And then Mike Macdonald called "Nail."

@TheBlueFrontier The swing after first 10 minutes of the match was outrageous. Swing in second half was surprising w/o subs. Moyes continues to baffle, but he’ll learn fewer lessons from 3 points. Myko is a PL left back, lot of respect for him, but he isn’t a top 8 LB. He was for 2nd goal tho!
English

@TheBlueFrontier Woeful first half. Aznou should have come on. Branthwaite, wow. Not nearly enough chance creation, very fortunate Barry had such an impressive finish.
English

@0ptimumvelocity Can bet a lot of money we won't see N'Diaye on the left and Dibling on the right.
English

Basically ends his season, that’s really tragic. Does this change the decision on making the deal permanent in the summer?

🚨⚠️ Understand Jack Grealish will be out for 3 months with stress fracture in his foot. 12 weeks out for Everton star as tests made today confirm long break and major blow for #EFC.
English

@TheJoeMarino You don’t need offensive guru. You scored 30 ppg with no WR of note w 3 different OC’s. You have best player on planet. You had a reputed defensive coach at HC and they were mediocre at best. That means Poor roster construction. Beane is on some Succession/House of Cards stuff
English

@TheBlueFrontier Hat tip to Garner, Patterson not exposed by some pacey winger, O’Brien much better CB option when they try to play behind, Rohl competent, Tarky lots of blocks. Not an ideal style matchup for Villa. Strongly disagreed with the offside.
English

@StevenBuchta @ccarlsononSU @PeteThamel I think we have always been a good school for quality assistant coaches. Chance to prove yourself at P4 level before big boys take a chance on you or lower level HC/coordinator opportunities. Paul P had a tree. Hopeful that continues for the development of our long-term players
English

@ccarlsononSU @mpotter44 @PeteThamel Absolutely agree but we also need to find a way to keep those players once they are developed and experienced otherwise we start all over again. You need leadership In all positions in football. Can't do that if they always leave. Also you cant not use the portal. Dabo found out.
English

Former USC/Boise State/UTEP quarterback Malachi Nelson has committed to Syracuse, per source. @PeteThamel first with it.
English

@ccarlsononSU @PeteThamel Thanks Chris. Not expecting an Indiana turnaround, but would like to be good at something besides punting. McCord year, we were good at passing. Not O-line/running, not pass rush. Never 3rd down defense. Want us to hang our hat on something.
English

@mpotter44 @PeteThamel The portal window "should" theoretically prevent that. But there's a yet-to-be-litigated question about whether you can just enroll in another school and play without going through the portal process.
English

@ccarlsononSU @PeteThamel Can QB’s transfer in August if not on 2-deep, or do NIL contracts/portal windows prevent that?
English

@mpotter44 @PeteThamel Quarterback you feel good about no matter what at this point. WR could be loaded but it's young depth so a bit of a mystery. Linebacker you probably feel OK with one injury given 3 starters back and add D'Appolonia.
English

@TheBlueFrontier Regardless of XI, we always play games under Moyes to not lose by a lot. never play to win. Against anyone. If we can’t create thru possession, which we shouldn’t (we stink), then win by being suffocating. We look poorly coached, a side that does nothing well, hoping 4 moments.
English

@TheRobVera He has same problem as Grealish. Constantly facing 2-3 defenders. Not worth beating your man if there’s 2 more waiting for you and no available teammate. That’s why Grealish just waits and waits for a pass to open up.
English

Dibling struggled but gained valuable experience and that’s better than leaving him rotting on the bench. He was good v Forest but has been up and down. You’re either willing to live with the ebbs and flows of development or you’re not really interested in development. #EFC
patricridge@PatricRidge
@TheRobVera Young players did play today and did struggle… Aznou definitely shown early signs of taking a chance that should have already come. Dibling on the other hand…
