NEW VIDEO: Doctor Who S21 Blu-Ray Collection: Is it too much AI? A Comparison Between DVD & Blu-Ray youtube.com/watch?v=0gM4OP… This is a comparison of exact complaints of over use of AI that I have seen on social media. Not all but ones that I have seen lately and I compare these between the DVD & Blu-ray to see how much ai has been applied. I have not used anyone's names from the posts I take these from and do not do this with the intent of being rude to anyone. I want to see for myself if the ai is heavy handed here. If you think my content is worthwhile to support, please consider supporting me on Patreon here starting at $3/month patreon.com/fromthearchive youtube.com/watch?v=0gM4OP…

@archivetvmus71 Mixed feelings about the series. Enjoyed it then and now, but just wished it had been characterised better. They made Dr Evadne appear stupid or hostile, and kept the locals one dimensional. And where was the singing! Missed opportunity. 3 times.

The first episode of Dear Ladies was broadcast on this day in 1983. Running for three series and 21 episodes, it starred George Logan and Patrick Fyffe as Dr. Evadne Hinge and Dame Hilda Bracket.

@czopanser William Hall - in case no one recognises the name - was Douglas Camfield's best man back in July and best friend. Not to mention an extra in Feast of Steven.

@filmisfabulous You might want to have a look at your donations page. Having tried in several browsers, no drop-down boxes appear, so donations can't be made. I hear several others are having the same issue.

@filmisfabulous One lovely thought about Peter Purves. Had Nightmare been the only find, it would like Airlock, been a 'quiet' episode for Steven. But Devil's Planet gets him on his feet & sparring with the Doctor & finding a rapport with Bret.

Exclusive Peter Purves Interview On Wednesday, 11th March 26, Peter Purves walked into Leicester’s Phoenix Arts Cinema & Art Centre. What happened next took the great man’s breath away. Film is Fabulous! had, in fact, recovered 2 missing episodes of The Daleks’ Master Plan.

@themindrobber Great video. And you are spot on about Douglas Camfield's direction. Day of Armageddon is simply astonishing. And the sets always astonish me. CCE, the conference, the transmitter room etc. Hyperventilating...

So the big question has to be : is Brian Cant's beard really noticeably different on film and in studio?

The BBC WAC Campaign's full submission to the Charter Review is now online. We argue policy changes at the Written Archives Centre fly in the face of the values at the heart of the Green Paper: trust, transparency, and the telling of stories. Read here: tinyurl.com/CharterSubmiss…
