Historic decision. The President of Ukraine @ZelenskyyUa and the Secretary General of the Council of Europe @alain_berset have signed an agreement in Strasbourg on the establishment of a Special Tribunal to investigate the crime of aggression against Ukraine. The tribunal will become an independent international institution within the Council of Europe. This is a strong signal to russia that the aggressor will not shirk responsibility. The enemy will pay for the crimes committed against Ukraine and the Ukrainian people. For the destroyed houses, schools, hospitals and the abductions of children. Трибунал стане незалежною міжнародною інституцією в межах Ради Європи. Це потужний сигнал росії, що агресор не уникне відповідальності. Ворог заплатить за злочини, скоєні проти України та українського народу. За зруйновані домівки, школи, лікарні, за викрадення дітей. Заморожені російські активи мають стати компенсацією за збитки та спрямовані на відновлення України. Продовжуємо наполегливо рухатися до справедливості.
