Today we had a Kindergarten TAP Session focusing on Mathematics. The enthusiasm during small discussions, the engagement in the activities and the genuine interest in the structure of our Maths lessons- what an invigorating session! #everforward

This term, Curiosity Hour is focused on high expectations and having systems in place to support academic growth and achievement. Staff reflected on their own practices, unpacking with colleagues what they did well in their lessons and the where to next. #lovewhereyoulearn

This fortnight, we had colleagues from Glendenning PS join us for our Component A English. Last term, we were invited to their neck of the woods to explore the Daily Review in Maths. Love the collaboration and partnerships with schools within the network! ☺️ @27alisonj

This fortnight’s Curiosity Hour was all about strengthening our planning & programming practices to ensure high quality, explicit and engaging Maths lessons. Teachers brought along their programs, providing each other peer feedback discussing what worked well and where to next.

Today we launched the Book Stop! Our aim is to streamline home reading borrowing schoolwide so that our students are set up for success (particularly those still on decodables). Students are encouraged to read books at home according to their knowledge of phonemes and graphemes.

This morning some of our students were interviewed by ABC Radio to show our support for former student Olympian Kyle Bruce on Green and Gold Day. GO KYLE!!! 🟢🟡🇦🇺
