@DreyfusJames His distain comes from the fact that she video’d the conversation and immediately, falsely accused M&S of breaking the law. There was no debate on her part. He had no option than to close her down.

The thing many people are missing about the M&S manager video, is the GLEE & the automatic condescension. I’m willing to bet that she initially asked about single-sex spaces, & he immediately treated her as if she was “transphobic” for even having the temerity to ask. There is no middle ground. She questioned it. He assumed she’s not worth his time &, therefore, owed NOTHING. Her concern would have been dismissed in an instant if he even smelt a whiff of dissent. She wasn’t abusive, she wasn’t “shouting after him”, she wasn’t being aggressive. She was hoping for a reasoned reply, MINUS the condescending dismissal, the walk-always, & the head shakes. I’ve seen enough videos of exactly the same reactions from bar staff, restaurant owners, & gatekeepers of the LGBTQIA+ crowd throwing out women they object to, to notice the exact same demeanour/attitude & deportment to recognise exactly WHAT they’re doing & the reason WHY. They ALWAYS dishonestly play the victim & instantly turn to the “I feel unsafe around you” line. We’re not blind. We’re not stupid. His ATTITUDE is what people are responding to. Not the fact that he said, correctly, “to take it up with head-office.” Any woman or LGB person will tell you the exact same thing. It’s as identifiable as spots on a Dalmatian. “T’aint what you do, it’s the way that you do it…”

I’m not keen on filming staff in stores but I’m glad this was captured. Accusing someone of being abusive when they’re not is a low and rather disgusting move. The woman asked a fair question and got a terrible response
Abouterf@Abouterf197543

Colchester @marksandspencer I asked where the women’s changing room was to try on swimwear. Manager Andrew (he/ his /him) says gender neutral changing areas are “completely safe” for women and girls. For asking him this question, he told me to leave the store. @SexMattersOrg

@ZiaYusufUK Describing ending someone’s career as fun is an interesting take. Sounds like you really have the constituents local concerns at heart.

Personal update: I was planning on taking a couple of days off over the next month. Given the news, I will instead be dedicating myself to helping the Reform candidate for Makerfield end Andy Burnham’s career and accelerate an early general election. Will be fun!

I don’t see how they can determine if it was a political donation and the term “doubt” is too ambiguous. Farage claims he had no doubt that it was a 🎁 but do the rules cover “doubt” on the part of the public?

What frustrates me most is the media focussing on a big thing that hasn’t happened- #Starmer quitting. Instead of focusing on a big thing that has happened - #Farage accepting a £5m gift from someone who has an interest in legislation change.

I came second to Reform in last week’s council elections, so I understand the frustration many voters are feeling. But after 14 years of austerity and decline, expecting Britain to be rebuilt in under two years was never realistic. 🧵1/5

Have these 70 labour MPs learnt nothing from David Cameron. Do not play into Farage’s hands. Pushing for a leadership contest will put further pressure on calling for a GE.

If Labour MPs detonate this government, the calls for an early general election will be immediate. Reform will claim that whoever succeeds Starmer will be illegitimate, because they didn’t win the election. The media will hound them, as relentlessly as they have Starmer, and the cycle continues. This all plays into Reform’s hands. It’s exactly what they want.

So context matters Says he was gifted £5million for his personal security before deciding to stand as an MP Since then - a pretty girls threw a milkshake at him - a male threw a paper cup with a stone in it - he alleged he was told not to do constituency surgeries for safety - he then retracted that - in October 2025 - Yusuf whined that Farage's security had been cut 75% - since the exposure of the |£5million Farage has stated that the state refuse to give him security hence the 'gift' - that is a problem when your Party has already whined such security has been cut - he has also stated his 'home' was ' firebombed' - the interesting fact there is zero mention until the money exposed and no Police verification despite being a high profile politician and 3 arson attacks on Starmer - then he alleges that the £5million was exposed via a serious hack of his computer - interesting as previously stated he does not do technology when previous donations and gifts were not disclosed - it is a serious charge as could be a national security risk - does he shout about Police investigation - no he says that the Party are looking at legal action!!! - Didn't Reform shout when McSweeney didn't tell the Police his job when his phone was stolen? Bottom line is that the story stinks like a kipper in sunlight Also given the incidents since the 'gift' it would appear he seriously needs to change his security as £5million does not appear to buy the best in the business 🤣

There you have it, £5m personal gift from a political donor is not seen as dodgy. 🙃

@mrakwilson There's nothing racist about wanting to control a country's border and stop illegal immigration When you call people Fascists for that, they will inevitably vote the way you disapprove of It's time for lefties and wokies to accept immigration is a massive problem

@mrakwilson I dont, this could be a disaster for reform, reform councils will have to work. Which they haven't in places where there were already reform councillors.
