Today at about 12:10 a shot was fired at the visiting speaker, Charlie Kirk. He was hit and taken from the location by his security. Campus police is investigating, a suspect is in custody.
My ORDER today (thanks to my boss, POTUS) will allow for Americans to use their RENT to qualify for a mortgage. Credit history will no longer just include credit cards and loans. This is HUGE.
@ChrisWilsonQED@JamesTate121 YEAH! You said it! If I'm going to pay for your good with my taxes, I'm going to tell you what you can and can't eat because I'm much smarter and wiser in making food choices than you are!!
I'm TRULY sad that people actually agree with you.
I hear the emotion in this, and no one is saying kids shouldn’t have birthday cake. But SNAP is a taxpayer-funded nutrition program—not a blank check for Oreos and soda.
We do have a responsibility to care for those in need—but part of that means helping families thrive, not stay stuck in cycles of poor health and poverty. Right now, over 75% of SNAP dollars go toward processed food, and obesity and diabetes rates are highest among the very people the program is meant to help.
No one’s banning birthday cake. We’re simply saying: if public dollars are buying food, let’s make sure it’s food that fuels growth, energy, and long-term wellbeing.
Kindness isn’t just saying “yes” to everything—it’s doing the hard work of building a better future for those who need it most.
I truly do not care if food stamps cover junk food.
It doesn't affect me.
But do you know who it does affect?
The kid who wouldn't get a birthday cake otherwise.
The one who only knows what it's like to say
"no" in the snack aisle.
The one who just wants to feel like every other child for one day.
Let them have the cake.
Let them have the chips at the birthday party.
Let them feel normal because poverty is already isolating enough.
If you've never had to choose between groceries and gas, sit this one out.
Because food stamps aren't your business
But kindness should be. Via April Dickens
@JOBrienGreyRock@EricLDaugh Did you get the attention you wanted Eric? Her statement was genuine, and sincere. Someone will always poke holes in someone's attempt to be an authentic human, but shame on you for trying to garner attention while accusing someone of trying to garner attention.
I disagree. She is very smart and very right- playing with and against a majority of talented Black female athletes. Recognizing factually that most of their roads to the WNBA were tougher than her's isn't woke. It's being accurate in a country where 80% of the population and thus WNBA fanbase is basically Caucasian.
REPORT: After being named TIME's "Athlete of the Year," Caitlin Clark apologizes for her white privilege and says that the WNBA is "built" on black players.
“I want to say I’ve earned every single thing, but as a white person, there is privilege."
"A lot of those players in the league that have been really good have been Black players. This league has kind of been built on them."
"The more we can appreciate that, highlight that, talk about that, and then continue to have brands and companies invest in those players that have made this league incredible, I think it’s very important. I have to continue to try to change that."
Humbled to say we’re bringing #MOANA’s beautiful story to the live action big screen!
#MAUI changed my life (miss you grandpa) and I’m honored to partner with @DisneyStudios to tell our story thru the realm of music & dance, which at the core is who we are as Polynesian people🪝
@tschak making friends again I see ^_^ every community has their toxic people..... some actually call me toxic as well. I guess it depends who you're dealing with.
Tonight, we saw firsthand who has the vision and strength to move this country forward instead of dividing us. @KamalaHarris will be a president for all Americans.
Let's get to work: secure.actblue.com/donate/social-…
@NJGuitarBoy@BetteMidler Yet, the people you’re speaking for are increasingly voting for Trump. I guess some people are actually paying attention and not vomiting back what they see in memes like this.
This is why people have issues with the LGBTQ...
You're mocking our Christian beliefs yet you want us to accept you...Why would I accept someone that mocks me?
You want acceptance - Accept Others

@uniteCOforus@JillianMichaels Maybe not, but to the eyes of the world they do. Just like any Christian in the public eye is seen as example of all of them, this display is seen as an example of all of them.
Dear fellow gays… We demand tolerance and respect but then make a mockery of something sacred for over 2 billion Christians. This type of hypocrisy and lack of understanding is a bad look. We get outraged when the extreme right bashes us, but then we do this shit. What kind of reaction do you think they will have towards the LGBTQ+ community after this. This is NOT how we break down barriers it’s how you build them.
@Everythingscoo1 OMG! Yeah! It's interesting that you block people who Tweet 'hate' and misinformation, but you're willing to use the words "colored people". Hypocrite much?
