Lots of talk for so long about Olympiacos but Shakhtar are the big threat, won 3-0 against AZ tonight so look good for the semis. Add two points to their total below and probably three more games to play - they're second in Ukraine, level with leaders LNZ but with a game in hand.

Röhl almost got this right... if he'd just started from "it makes no sense to speak about the other side", he'd have nailed it. No need to respond to McCowan and where everyone is in the table now is irrelevant, it's only where they are at the end of the season that counts.

Poor from Rangers to drop points after last week's win over Hearts, it undoes that good work. It wasn't a penalty for the challenge on Moore... but it was a foul and the replay showed as much. To decide to do nothing at all and play on was extraordinary and downright wrong.

Checked out the new Racket Barn padel and pickleball centre across from Govan subway on Saturday. Superb facility done to a brilliant standard, really recommend it for anyone who plays either. We’ve been getting into padel over the last year or so and will definitely be regulars!

I’ve got a lot of time for much of what @HLTCO posts, always very honest and fair content. Great for Scottish football to have fan accounts like this recognising the merits and strengths of our game against a backdrop of too many being lazy and just telling you it’s all terrible.

Should have mentioned Naderi earlier, excited about how his Rangers career might pan out. Raw but great feet, uses his body well and will score goals for sure. Some scoffed at paying so much for him from Germany’s third tier but that’s the type of player RFC should be unearthing.

@mrandrewdickson Centre mid still an issue for me tho...teams pass through us far too easily. Thoroughly enjoyed the W but really need sharper passing and better positioning to close down space when out of possession

Enjoyed that. Had to win to stay in the mix and deserved the victory. Chermiti visibly so much more confident after his first and scored a great hat-trick. Rommens terrific, Sterling gave balance. Positive substitutions, feels like Rohl learned a lesson there from midweek…

With my Sky hat on, it was a good day for Scottish football too. Way more eyes on Hearts v Rangers in the primary Super Sunday slot than usual. Drama in the first game then a gripping, quality contest that wasn’t settled until stoppage time, great advert for our game overall 👍

The reality of this midweek is their title rivals were set to drop points but found ways to win late on while Rangers tried to see out a game against 10 men and couldn’t do it. They’ve had good results but there’s no margin for error just now, a painful wake-up call at Fir Park.

Also, credit to Motherwell. They play with such energy and creativity and were the better team so deserved their point. They’re probably just too far behind to find a way into the title race but they’ll certainly play a part in influencing it if they keep going as they have been.

Danny Rohl has rightly had a lot of credit since he joined Rangers but he picked a team with one eye on the Hearts game and he’s not in a position to have that luxury. It’s about the here and now with a deficit to chase down and paid the price with the wrong selection…

@DelTrotter9 @AndrewM92193593 Probably worth a look at the other couple of posts I followed up with, Andy. I agree with a lot of what you're saying - but some of the complaints back up Rohl's view too. It'll be a bit easier for the team to win the title if the support is able to lift the positivity a bit.

I get the reasons for it being flat but Rohl's spot on. And while Butland's mistake was a terrible lapse in concentration, it's worth remembering Rangers would be nowhere near a title race without his contribution this season. He's been their best player in about half the games.
