My cousin made ₹3.4 crore this year.
He’s 23.
College dropout.
Used to borrow money for petrol.
Relatives called him “useless.”
Now he earns more in a month than people who mocked him make in 10 years.
What changed?
He stopped chasing passion.
And started selling “how to become rich” courses to teenagers on Instagram 😭💀
A joyous moment for every Indian!
Chola Copper Plates dating back to the 11th Century will be repatriated to India from the Netherlands. Took part in the ceremony for the same in the presence of Prime Minister Rob Jetten.
The Chola Copper Plates are a set of 21 large plates and 3 small plates and largely contain texts in Tamil, one of the most beautiful languages of the world. They relate to the great Rajendra Chola I formalising an oral commitment made by his father, King Rajaraja I. They also showcase the greatness of the Cholas. We in India are immensely proud of the Cholas, their culture and their maritime prowess.
I thank the Government of the Netherlands and Leiden University in particular, where the Copper Plates were kept since the mid-19th century.
@MinPres
You are okay sleeping naked with him, doing everything together, sharing the same bed and same room.
But the moment he touches your phone suddenly it becomes “privacy” and “insecurity”?
Modern relationships are hilarious.
People are more scared of their partner seeing their chats than seeing their body.
That tells you everything.
Yesterday was a long day.
I was called for questioning in connection with a case that I believed had no merit, and I attended the questioning to present my version. However, the police arrested me at 5.30 PM.
I was granted bail at 10 PM, and the Hon’ble Duty Judge clearly stated that he saw no offence in the case. He also said that he saw no mens rea and failed to understand why I had even been arrested.
Grateful to @RaviSharmaTalks and @sidcool2302, the wonderful lawyers who helped me through this.
Thankful to the many people, both online and offline, who supported me. I’m truly grateful. Of course, there are many who dislike you and use such opportunities to strike harder when you are down, but that’s fair game. It was your day, and you took it. I can take those blows and come back.
At times like these, one realises the importance of ideological support. The people who stood by me at the most crucial juncture were neither close friends nor relatives, but those with whom I am bound by ideology. And it delivered for me when it mattered most.
This incident has added many new layers of perspective, most importantly the ones we usually miss in the melee of day-to-day social media discourse.
I’ll write about the specifics of this case another day. For now, I just want to say thank you so much to everyone who has been a well-wisher. I’m grateful.
Thank you for monitoring the situation.
@RiddleSphere@aravind I still remember my village in Bihar till 2015 there was no road , no electricity , and suddenly there was everything , that too to such remote place and then these idiots think vote chori
The number of people without electricity by country.
Look what happened after 2016. Someone started fixing India for real. Many things at a time. Still some way to go. The lag of last 60 is that bad.
We went to buy a new family car today.
Just requested the showroom to deliver it before 17 May because Malmas starts after that.
And the salesman literally mocked us for following our traditions.
He said: You people are educated yet still believe in these things? Thousands buy cars during Malmas too.
Imagine insulting a customer just because he respects his culture.
My father stayed calm and said: Being modern does not mean abandoning traditions.
But the salesman kept arguing.
So we cancelled the booking right there and took our money back.
India is becoming so modern that now people feel ashamed of their own culture, festivals and beliefs.
Respecting traditions is now called backwardness.
This mentality is more dangerous than illiteracy.

Accidentally paid ₹1515 instead of ₹15 at a fruit shop.
Yesterday evening, while talking with my friends, I bought 3 bananas worth ₹15.
I was distracted in conversation, entered the amount without properly checking the screen, typed the UPI pin, took the fruits, and left.
Suddenly the shop owner started shouting. Because of the traffic noise, he literally came running behind me.
Turns out I had accidentally paid ₹1515 instead of ₹15.
He instantly returned ₹1500 after scanning my QR. I thanked him a lot, and he was super chill about it. Told me not to pay without checking next time.
Me, my friends, and the owner had a good laugh over my carelessness.
Some shopkeepers are genuinely kind hearted. The world needs more people like this.
