@TFIupdates are you aware there seems to be an issue with the Leap Top-up App with Pixel Devices once they upgrade to Android 17. You are unable to update using the Leap Top-up App it errors on all cards. As the App has not had an update for a year (28th Aug 2025) not surprised

@talktoBOI Hi Megan, that was already set like that. I checked both Chrome and Brave as another option. I tested again and have the same problem. I am on Android 16 on my Mobile phone does that make any difference?

@mrbman Hi Paul, we have tested this on our side. Could you please go to: Settings>Security & Privacy > Permissions manager > Camera > Google (or whatever browser you're using) > Click Allow or Ask. This should allow you to go through the application process. Thanks, Megan

@talktoBOI I am trying to setup a smart start account for my child, I have now tried 2 mobile phones (Android 14 &16) and your web app on Win 11 (Chrome & Edge) and all 3 give the same error. What devices are supported?

@talktoBOI I have allowed the camera for the 365online site and have the same error in Chrome

@mrbman Open Chrome, tap the three-dot "More" icon, select Settings, then Site Settings, and then Camera. From there, you can control the default setting to allow. You may also need to ensure camera permissions are enabled in your Android device's Settings>Apps>Chrome>Permissions menu.

@talktoBOI Hi Megan, I should have mentioned I tried that yesterday, there was no option to add the BOI app. Which in line with the fact that the App itself is not asking for Permission to the Camera.

@talktoBOI I have just tested with a Colleague running Android 15 on Samsung Galaxy and they are getting the same error. Is there a way to get your technical team to investigate this?

@mrbman Hi Paul, thanks for getting in touch. You can use your device to open an account. The error message you're receiving is due to the settings on your phone and the permissions that are set to allow access to your camera. You will need to change this to apply online. Thanks, Megan

@talktoBOI Hi Megan, I have tried on multiple devices and even a Laptop running Win 11 and the Chrome Browser. All do same thing. I have checked the App and I have given permission to everything the app requests, interestingly one thing not requested is access to the Camera. See attached

@PokemonGOHubNet Yes, what the game needs right now is more half developed rushed out visual changes that have no real improvement on the core gameplay. Maybe when they roll these out a button should be added to disable, then they could see if people actually want these.
