@adamlaiacano we have been having good luck with Metaflow as an Airflow replacement. Notebooks are still bad, stand ups are still good (unless they're bad).

* notebooks are no longer bad and are now “shipped” * airflow is bad but you’re stuck with it * MLOps is still mostly undefined, but necessary * yaml is still bad but used to configure everything * the future is to configure everything with sql?

I’ve been doing lots of reading while on parental leave for the past 6 months and some of my main takeaways are: * stand ups are bad * OKRs are bad * code review is unnecessary * all you need is SQL

@cejarvis I even tried to find out how to fix it myself, but they didn't sell the part that was broken (the little door that holds the detergent) and we would have had to buy an entire new dishwasher door

@cejarvis dishwashers are just like this! when ours was broken we called multiple appliance repair people who all said they just aren't worth fixing anymore and we should buy a new one.
