I understand many of you are upset, but a lot of the counter rhetoric I'm witnessing is going WAY too far Everyone has a freedom of religion and not having our beliefs controlled by the State is part of the foundation for Democracy. This whole, "Erm.. PHUCK YOU CHRISTIANS" sentiment I'm seeing all over my feed frankly disgusts me. Even going out of their way to attack anyone who believes in Jesus. When you KNOW these people would never DARE speak on Muhammad or any other religions iconography. (Of which, I have always supported my Islamic and other religious friends despite not being one myself) We generally understand there is a required level of decency and respect if you want to coexist among these people of various beliefs. As long as you are not directly spewing hatred or violence, there is nothing wrong with believing in a higher power at all. It genuinely does not matter how you feel. I have been joking and shitposting throughout this whole campaign, but to spread direct vitriol like this is absolutely not okay and I condemn every single person doing it.
