Each of your nostrils has a different job. When we breathe, we take in more air through one nostril than the other, alternating every few hours. The different levels of airflow sensitise each nostril to different smells, so that your brain receives more complete information.

these people always say to "think of the children" but then never actually think of the children because they are the king or queen of their household. any feelings, thoughts or opinions from their children are immediately invalidated because the parents' word is law
