Back in 2013 I got myself in trouble (with my CEO when I worked at a different company) for saying that "Peak Cloud" was coming, when we would go from a growth market to a churn market. We haven't got there yet, but it's on the horizon.

@kelseyhightower If you introduce laws that protect voter anonymity I don’t see an issue. If ID is used to intimidate people to vote a certain way, then it’s terrible. See the Ohio Sheriff who encouraged recording names and addresses of Democrats to see how this could end badly.

Around 1 million Lebanese are displaced as a result of IDF attacks. Scores are sleeping in schools or on the streets. That’s one sixth of the country. Imagine the entire populations of San Francisco, or Birmingham or Ottawa having no home and no safety in just a few days.

I don't think people outside of Victoria realise what it's like to have its own media obsessively, hate and self loath over their own city. What's worse they are devoid of reality and warped perceptions of their own home town. Meanwhile everyone who ever visits Melbourne fall in love.
