Not that I expect good data from Claremont folks 🤡 But this is incorrect. The death penalty TRIAL itself is what makes it more expensive. And it’s 4x MORE than the appellate process. Meaning even if the jury says no (and since LWOP was implemented they mostly do because *sane* people worry about the chance they’re wrong) taxpayers still pay the price. All that money for no deterrence and we still have exonerated 1 person for every 8 executions with the safeguards we have. Aka: you’d have to be a moron to want to make it easier for the government to kill people.

I made $37k a year out of college living in northern VA and paid off my $10k in student loans in 6 months. The fact that my tax dollars are going to a family making $250k a year is fucking insanity.

My take on Roe v Wade: 1. The constitution never mentioned abortion, or even healthcare. According to the 10th amendment, that means it's left to the states, or the people. 2. Abortion was legal until the mid-1800s. 3. A government war on abortion will lead to more abortions.

Just found out that getting a Bachelors degree in Psychology is basically useless because you need a Masters degree in Psychology to even counsel. Opt for a Social Work degree instead of a degree in Psychology if you’re looking to get involved in the field w just a bachelors.
