Today in Rock History April 5, 2002 Layne Staley, the 34-year-old lead singer of Alice in Chains, was found dead in his home from a heroin and cocaine overdose. Isolated by addiction, Staley had lost contact with much of the outside world. At the time of his death, the 6-foot (1.8 m) musician weighed just 86 pounds (39 kg), and his body was so decomposed it had to be identified through dental records.

It requires either a two-thirds vote in both the House and Senate or a constitutional convention called by two-thirds of state legislatures. Finally, it must be ratified by three-fourths of state legislatures or conventions.

Again, like I said in my other role, the majority of our refining capacity is for sour crude, not the sweet crude we produce. I’m all for energy independence, but if the oil companies can import and refine sour crude cheaper than retooling our refineries to refine the sweet crude we produce that’s what they’re gonna do.

@0hour1 I have, but the vast majority of our refining capacity is set up to refine sour crude, not the sweet crude we produce. I’m not arguing we can’t be completely energy dependent, it would just require significant investment to retool current refineries or build new ones.

@luke_holtham @BOSSportsGordo The rear wheels act as fixed pivot point allowing the nose of the vehicle to swing tighter, shortening the arc of travel. That’s why you commonly see big trucks backed into spaces they wouldn’t be able to pull into normally without doing like a 6 point turn.
