And, "lacking bias", for DevRels talking about their companies tools would fall into this trap. So you would rather accept a talk about SonarQube from random people but not from a Sonar employee ?

@vilojona @asm0di0 @DevoxxUK @_pitest @jbaruch @Devoxx I'm not, and I agree with you. I think we had a similar discussion at JCON last May on this as well. If someone or some conferences don't think that way I think it's a loss for them, and on similar reasons I avoid some of the conferences/speakers as well.
