@mrithejester @you_zee_me If both adults work, both adults should contribute financially and domestically. Otherwise one person becomes overburdened while the other is expected to absorb invisible labour. Partnership should mean shared responsibility, not gender-assigned roles

@huma_pervaiz1 @you_zee_me I think regulation in most (not all) countries is far from allowing equal partnerships in that sense. I understand where you are coming from though, and I would not 'enforce' traditional roles. I say live your life the way you want.

@yoMamaLiIith Economic growth just before the pandemic was very strong across the world, and there was almost a global rise of a 'middle class'. Oil prices were also at levels where jet fuel did not cost a pretty penny. All was good until the Pandemic threw a wrench.
