Mike Bones

Wasted Youth was a prominent Los Angeles hardcore band that formed in 1981 and featured the song *Problem Child* on their debut album, Reagan's In. Recently, a reformed version of the group has returned to performing live.

My intro to Herbie Hancock’s *Rockit* was in high school when I came across a breakdancer, Richard, cruising the hallway with a massive boombox on his shoulder blasting it. Thanks Richard for the memories. 🙏

Released on February 23, 1957, this rockabilly classic was recorded at Sun Studios featuring a young Jerry Lee Lewis on piano. The song capitalized on the era's space craze and led Sam Phillips to name the backing band The Little Green Men Billy Riley *Flying Saucer Rock'n'Roll*

Finnish "goth 'n roll" band The 69 Eyes released their signature anthem *Lost Boys* in 2004, a tribute to the 1987 vampire film of the same name. Bam Margera directed the music video on location in Hollywood and Philadelphia.
