I always felt Biggie got his style from Kane. Nas melted R and G Rap together. Jay if u pay close attention got a lot of his style from LL Cool J. “Can’t Knock The Hustle” could have easily been a LL a song. I know yall gonna debate me but yall flow ears not as tuned as mine 😂

U missed my point dickhead. So quick to get on here and argue like a fucking female. At best u have a different opinion. Cool. That’s a debate. But u can’t question SHIT about me. No nigga living can.

@mrmuthaf_cker You're from Ringlin Brothers. I'm not watching a DAMN THING. For you to say BIG wasn't on that S&D timing let me know who you are. BIG & Kim and their whole crew was the REASON for S&D. But I won't delve any deeper. And Shyne was LITERALLY from up the street from me. Brooklyn Ave

That’s like saying all southern niggas sound the same. But somebody from the south knows an East Atlanta nigga not gonna sound like somebody from another part of the city. To NY they all the same. That’s my point. They’re very different. Not similar at all.
⚡️🍅Alim🍅⚡️@FuxwitLim

@mrmuthaf_cker You’re talking about specific and insignificant differences. Nigga Shyne sounded like Biggie. Audio.

Yeah ur it looking at it from a basic perspective. It’s more than just what they sound like. It’s what the musics about. The topics, the beats, the slang etc. totally different. That’s what music iZ. Its expression.

In NY it’s hard to explain. But project niggas and house block niggas are different from each other. To the world yall don’t understand. But a house block nigga can’t make project music and vice versa. It’s just different.
⚡️🍅Alim🍅⚡️@FuxwitLim

@mrmuthaf_cker Niggas compared Shyne to Biggie cause he sounded just like him. Wasn’t specified to where they were from. Guerilla Black was biting aka sounding like Biggie as a La nigga

Not talking about rapping better. I’m talking about what the music was about. Mobb Deep music iZ project music. It’s from the perspective of project niggas. Project niggas are not regular NY niggas. We different.
⚡️🍅Alim🍅⚡️@FuxwitLim

@mrmuthaf_cker Nah you reaching. Even as a casual rap fan from sunny Southern California we/me knew mobb deep could rap better than CNN. That’s all that mattered.

Niggas think we was wearing army fatigues and being godbody. We wasn’t. Shyne was on the shit we was on. S&D Underground type shit. BIG wasn’t that.
⚡️🍅Alim🍅⚡️@FuxwitLim

Yeah that’s disgusting. Shyne represented what young niggas in Brooklyn were on at that time. He was the 2000s version of Brooklyn. Biggie was More 80’s 90’s. He’s probably the only rapper that represents when I grew up in Brooklyn.

Mobb Deep made project music. CNN made jail nigga music. Lefrak don’t feel like Queensbridge. But to somebody not from NY it probably seems similar. But it’s worlds apart as far as the feeling and sound.

Shyne music was West Indian/Black Brooklyn. BIG was Bed Stuy fly shit. Shyne was for Backyard parties, Biggie was for clubs. It’s not similar at all. He doesn’t even sound like Biggie to me. It’s like comparing Mobb Deep to CNN cuz they from Queens. They shit way different.

Shyne from Flatbush, BIG for the Stuy. To a nigga from another state yall probably say it’s all Brooklyn. But they could never sound the same. It’s like comparing E40 to 2pac. Way different style of music and story to what they saying in the music.
