A mother and her children were woken up and terrorized in their hotel room by a woman who came to the hotel and somehow convinced an employee to give her a room key. This woman was literally going door to door, trying the key on random doors at one point. The incident happened at an Extended Stay Hotel in Buffalo, NY, and has been reported to authorities. An investigation is ongoing, but as of May 20, 2026, the woman has not been arrested.

FWPD stated they are sharing this information to correct "dangerously false narratives" circulating online. According to police:The Dispute: Ms. Grayson entered the lobby at 8:09 a.m. to dispute a drive-thru order and began berating a 17-year-old employee. A 20-year-old shift lead intervened.The Altercation: Physical contact began when Ms. Grayson forcefully shoved and then struck the shift lead. A physical fight ensued, during which Ms. Grayson pulled a large chunk of hair from the employee's head. The Aftermath: After separating, Ms. Grayson sat at a table and later laid down on the floor at 8:22 a.m. Employees checked on her and brought her water before an officer arrived and found her unresponsive. NEW: San Diego woman tanks two shots to the chest and still advances on officers with a ballpoint pen until tased San Diego Police Department released bodycam footage of the April 15, 2026, officer-involved shooting in the East Village near 16th Street and Island Avenue. 32-year-old Denise Guzman was allegedly stabbing a man multiple times with a ballpoint pen when officers arrived on the call. Guzman refused repeated commands to drop the pen and advanced toward officers. Officer Grijalva fired multiple rounds, striking her at least twice in the chest.
