I am not interested in any conference the ADC held or will hold. Let's be updated on the status of the cases in court. Are you appealing the court of Appeal's decision to the supreme court? Are you going back to the Federal High Court for the accelerated hearing? Are you taking INEC to court for the interpretation of Status quo ante bellum? All these media and noise will not save the party. Let's go to the root of the issue.

STATEHOUSE PRESS RELEASE Why President Tinubu addressed the victims of the Plateau attacks at the airport President Tinubu's itinerary for Thursday included two main engagements: receiving the Chadian President, Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, and proceeding to Iperu, Ogun State. After Governor Caleb Mutfwang's briefing, President Tinubu suspended the trip to Ogun. Overnight, the Presidential Villa made arrangements for the visit to Jos, with presidential assets quickly deployed. However, the President could not postpone the scheduled visit by the Chadian leader. The President of Chad was at the Presidential Villa for a very important bilateral meeting focused on strengthening security collaboration between the two countries. The meeting ran longer than expected, affecting President Tinubu’s scheduled departure for Jos. Upon arrival in Jos, the visit encountered some logistical challenges. While the road distance from the airport to Jos township is approximately 40 minutes, the runway does not support night flights due to the absence of navigational aids. The constraints made it unfeasible to drive into town, meet victims for on-the-spot assessment and return to the airport before dusk. Consequently, state and federal officials decided to bring representatives of the affected community to a hall adjoining the airport so the President could meet with them promptly while adhering to flight restrictions. Among the people in the hall were the Minister of Defence, the Chief of Army Staff and the Inspector General of Police, who had visited Rukuba, the epicentre of the conflict. President Tinubu deployed the high-level team to Rukuba, including the Senior Special Assistant on Community Engagement, to undertake critical groundwork on security and community engagement, with a view to stabilising the area before his arrival. Beyond expressing his condolences to the victims, President Tinubu’s objective was to engage with critical stakeholders in Plateau State on ending the recurring, decades-old conflict that has resulted in needless loss of lives and property. President Tinubu’s visit to Jos was not merely symbolic. It was a strategic, high-level engagement aimed at bringing all stakeholders together to address the root causes of conflict and insecurity in the state. He interacted with the victims, consoled them, and listened to them. He also listened to local leaders and assured them that the federal government would deliver justice and end the cycle of violence. He promised the deployment of 5000 AI-enabled cameras to monitor the city and enhance the identification and arrest of troublemakers. Furthermore, the President invited the community leaders to Abuja for further talks on finding a lasting solution to the recurring violence in the state. The meeting, televised live, was solemn and reassuring, boosting residents' confidence. President Tinubu achieved the purpose of his visit, despite the naysayers' attempts to ridicule it. He dropped an unmistakable message: sustainable peace must be built with the people, not imposed on them. Bayo Onanuga Special Adviser to the President (Information and Strategy) April 3, 2026

Troops neutralise three suspected terrorists in Plateau By: Zagazola Makama Troops of Sector 2 Operation Enduring Peace have neutralised three suspected terrorists during an ambush operation at Karem village in Wase Local Government Area of Plateau State. Security sources said the operation was carried out at about 9:00 p.m. on April 2 following credible intelligence on the movement of armed men on three motorcycles heading towards the community. The sources disclosed that troops swiftly mobilised and laid an ambush along the route leading into the village. “Contact was made with the terrorists, and troops engaged them with superior firepower, resulting in the neutralisation of three of the assailants,” the source said. He added that a follow-up exploitation of the scene led to the recovery of the bodies of the neutralised suspects. However, no weapons or motorcycles were recovered, as fleeing members of the group were believed to have evacuated them during the encounter. The source said efforts were ongoing to track and intercept the fleeing suspects, with troops maintaining high morale and operational readiness.

The issue of the resignations of Nafiu Bala Gombe and the validity or not is pending before the Federal High Court, so the court has to make a pronouncement. This is a matter the court has to decide, it’s not a matter anybody can act on now. - Prof. Amupitan INEC Chairman

“If they (ADC) are saying we have taken sides, that is not true, because if you look at the status quo ante bellum, we tried to interrogate it, and it means the status before the hostility started, the status before the war.” - Prof. Amupitan INEC Chairman responded to David Mark-led ADC calling for his sack over INEC's derecognition of their NWC.

This afternoon, I spent time with stakeholders and victims of the recent terror incident in Jos, Plateau State. Rhoda Favour, I feel your pain but no matter what we say, we cannot bring Ayuba back. We will find the perpetrators of this dastardly acts. Immediately we return to Abuja, the committee, as mentioned, should be expanded to include Professor Nentawe, the Governor, and the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs. The Minister, come see me. Take numeric analysis of the victims, you're a data person. Let's see what we can do. We can't replace their loved ones, but we'll do our best to give them comfort - President Tinubu speaks in Plateau State

Sir I truly Understand how you feel, But like I have said I am Deeply Sorry for the Misinformation, You Demanded for an Apology and I have publicly apologized within the time frame you gave, Please Forgive my Actions, I had no intention or internal motive to damage your brand’s reputations, It was Just An April Foool Act, Being that it was first of April yesterday, and in Quran 42:40 Which says; The recompense of an evil deed is an evil one like it too, but whoever pardons and Forgive Others, his rewards are with Allah, please in the name of Allah I seek your forgiveness.
Sarkin Mota@SarkinMota_AMF

You don’t get to put years of my hard work and everything I’ve built on the line, then dismiss it as an April Fool’s joke. That kind of misinformation has real consequences, and it affects not just me but the people connected to my brand. This also isn’t the first time something you’ve done something like this, which makes it even harder to overlook. If this behavior keeps being excused as a joke, it will continue to damage people’s reputations unfairly. At some point, there has to be accountability, this time you must be held accountable. This goes beyond a simple apology.

Dear Sarah, Your audience deserve the truth. Do you know one Hon. Nafiu Bala Gombe, Vice-National Chairman of ADC? He claimed he should lead the party after the National Chairman, Ralph Okey Nwosu, resigned. Senator David Mark’s group formed a new National Working Committee (NWC) on 29th July 2025, asserting control over ADC following the old executives’ resignation. Hon Gombe filed FHC/ABJ/CS/1819/2025 on 2nd Sept 2025, seeking injunctions to stop Sen. Mark’s group from acting as ADC leadership. Then Sen. Mark appealed to the Court of Appeal, which on 12th March 2026 dismissed his appeal but issued status quo orders to preserve the ongoing Federal High Court case. INEC now maintains status quo ante bellum, removing NWC names from its portal and refusing to recognise any faction until the FHC delivers a final ruling. Wait for FHC ruling. Please no noise. I am writing names of noise makers.
SERAH IBRAHIM@TheSerahIbrahim

Not even up to 24 hours and INEC has dissolved the David Mark ADC leadership. This was the same stunt they pulled to destroy Labour Party.

In the midst of chaos, Muslim youths at Zololo Junction in Jos stood guard not with stones, but with courage. When a Christian woman was trapped, they didn’t ask her name or faith. They shielded her, moved her through the tension, and delivered her safely to the police. That is not politics. That is humanity. That is the Nigeria we took an oath to defend. We carry rifles to protect citizens like these citizens who protect each other when the system falters. This is the spirit that keeps me believing we will win. Brothers and sisters like these are why we keep standing.
