A Southwark (labour) council masterclass in Bermondsey, this tower block has been idle for 9 years. Council spent £15M on refurbishment stripping it back to bones, it was deemed too expensive to complete work and now has been left to rot. The demolition also presumably too expensive, leaving a massive eyesore.
