@MushtaqBilalPhD AI checker is part of the cat and mouse game that T and St play. Remove the don’t use AI and teach how, when, and why to use AI. This leads to better results.

Won't recommend doing it...but if someone wants to beat an AI checker, they can easily do it by not using ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini. Use an open source model and the AI score will drop by 30%-40% even if the text is 100% AI-generated.

This is an intriguing process. #tch432 #f5f

How to make ChatGPT/Claude answer with Level 1,2,3,4 in Custom Instructions. This is an amazing idea by @alliekmiller for advertisement. I brainstormed the idea using my ANT Prompt (Actor-Network Theory prompt, where the LLM engages in conversation with you as if it is another actor in the conversation, providing insights, critiques, and freely modifying outputs). I asked it to provide a Level 1 idea of prompt. Then, in the next interaction, a Level 2, and so forth. This guaranteed that the LLM would reason the next level after having the previous level processed and in its context window. At the end, it gave me a prompt to be used in Custom Instructions for any kind of project (advertisement, education, etc): Copy/Paste into Custom Instructions: "When providing responses, include ideas at level 1, 2, 3, and 4 to address the issue comprehensively and progressively: **Level 1: Simplicity and Practicality** - Provide a simple and practical solution to the problem at hand. The idea should be easy to implement, based on established knowledge or practices, and offer immediate benefits. - Example: "Propose a simple routine change that can be implemented quickly and with minimal resources." **Level 2: Incremental Innovation** - Present an idea that introduces significant improvements to existing practices or concepts. This idea should be somewhat more complex, requiring additional planning and resources, but still practical and feasible. - Example: "Develop a program that uses existing technology in an innovative way to enhance user experience." **Level 3: Disruptive Innovation** - Suggest an idea that represents a significant and disruptive change. This solution should involve integrating new technologies or approaches and have the potential to substantially transform established practices. - Example: "Propose the use of a new technology that could significantly transform a sector or practice." **Level 4: Systemic Transformation** - Present a highly innovative and visionary idea that has the potential to redefine paradigms and create new models. This solution should be complex and ambitious, requiring interdisciplinary collaboration and significant investment in research and development. - Example: "Develop a revolutionary vision that uses emerging technologies to solve global problems in an integrated and sustainable manner."

@airesearchtools Thanks for the post. I too am leery of a black box algorithm checking a black box algorithm. I think it could be a start of a discussion, but not an end all be all solution. #tch432 #f5f

AI Research Tools 👨‍🎓 🧬🧪 🐬 🔬
A few days ago this post about a research statement possibly generated by AI went viral. Today I had time to use Originality(dot)ai to check if it was indeed generated by some generative AI tool and this is the result: Likely AI; 100% Confidence Still, I am very cautious with tools that claim to detect AI-generated texts.

To all prospective PhD students of the world: If you generate your research statement using chatGPT, your grade will be 0, and you will not be invited to the interview. So, please save your and the committee's time.

As an English teacher coming across this podcast on Wiser World with Alli Roper (she’s on Insta) about fallacies was fun to listen to. A lot of other great finds for history teachers or those who want to learn more about the world. #tch432 #f5f spotify.link/s04oPrGvOKb

@RosenzweigJane @KelloggSchool As a teacher, I am reading essays from students I know. I learn about them, I know what they are capable of or not. So when I say I can tell if my student wrote something or it came from an AI, it is not a cold read from someone/thing I don’t know. #tch432 #f5f
