What is a lifesaving medical fact that you think everybody should know.

Consultants and medical elders on the timeline Enough of using house officers to do the work of nurses, potters and others Kindly let them do their job If we want a better health care team, then we should start from within.

As my former MD told me after I got sick from chasing locum in Lagos. He told me that making money in Lagos as a doctor is blood money. As as itinerary doctor, especially a skilled surgeon in a big city like Lagos, you can easily pack millions in a month. But what this entails is leaving your home as early as 5am, jumping from one hospital to the other doing different procedures till late in the night. I once assisted a myomectomy at around 12pm in the night, because that's when the surgeon arrived. After the myomectomy, we did an herniotomy. Finished the procedures about 4am. So for my surgery enthusiasts, you can definitely make money with your skills but kindly forget about work-life balance.
