Many children will have a late night tonight for the football. On Monday registration will be extended to 9:45am allowing children to arrive later. Breakfast club as normal and soft start as normal from 8:45am.

My family and I each lit a #yellowcandle on #YomHashoah remembering victims of the Holocaust. Earlier, at @yomhashoahuk commemoration, I was privileged to hear first hand testimony of survivor Bronia Snow, aged 95. Hoping and praying for a kinder, peaceful world. #AmYisraelChai

@historytastic @Ethical_Leader True but might be the school haven't been explicit about the reason for their request. Similarly, it can be useful for a governor to gain first hand experience of trips which can inform strategic decisions and oversight. Again, this could be made explicit.

@Headteacherchat If financially unviable run by school, less likely to be viable for external provider seeking a profit. School should not subsidise wraparound care - but should also consider the cost in *not* providing the service such as any risk of falling roll. Happy to receive DMs!

We believe that having a childcare provider operate in our facilities could be a viable solution. Is anyone with experience in making this transition willing to offer advice and guidance?

An anonymous post: Our school is currently running its own before and after school club. Due to administration time, staffing issues, and rising costs, it has become unsustainable to continue.

@EdRoundtables For a handmade pen, beautifully crafted from UK wood, in my opinion, it would be worth it to pay more and to have a pen that writes as beautifully as it looks. I'd be interested! Good luck!

I’m heartbroken to have lost not only one of my most beautiful & trusted comrades but for the whole school community. @MsKarenGiles touched everyone in her orbit. She was hilariously funny, hugely compassionate and fiercely dedicated to her work.

The world has lost one of our brightest stars. Karen leaves an enormous legacy. What an absolute privilege to have known her. RIP
