Cup Challenge! These 2nd graders synergized by solving as many subtraction problems as they can. Correct answers earned them a cup for their team. At the end teams competed by using their cups to build the tallest tower. Tallest tower wins! @collierschools @VOEPanthers

Since I’ve first met these kiddos they have expressed their fears of division. Here we explored real life scenarios of equal sharing and I didn’t even tell them yet we were learning to divide. I wish I had recorded their faces when I told them they just did division. PRICELESS!!
