Which bird beaks are designed for food groups? We investigated by trying to “eat” using our “beaks”. If you’ve never picked up grains of rice with tweezers, be ready for a trying experience! @HanoverMiddle

Today we were discussing how cell variation can lead to a change in the properties of apples. Our main takeaway was that a slice of apple can hold about 200 paper clips without breaking which was about 190 over our prediction. @HanoverMiddle

Our JA Biztown speeches are underway for mayor and district attorney. All of our candidates were very well-spoken as they spoke to their peers about their qualifications as potential mayor and district attorney. @HanoverMiddle

I would be just mean to have the students annotate The History of the Chocolate Chip Cookie without at least a little taste 😉 @HanoverMiddle

We discussed the engineering design process by trying to outdo our classmates with the tallest paper tower. Unfortunately, we had a lot of discussion on what to do when things go wrong. @HanoverMiddle
