Last week we wrapped up our non fiction writing by sharing with others and leaving compliments on each other writing. Our room was full of smiles after reading the notes their friends left! @WassWolves

This Valentine’s Day our 1st grade @WassWolves decided to spread kindness to kids at @ChildrensDMC! They picked items, made cards & packed up goodie bags donated by our very generous parents! We even did chores to earn extra money for toys & games to donate! We’re so proud!

Kindness Month is in full swing!! @WassWolves are spreading kindness by taking a note, sharing a note, or giving a note. (It’s worth zooming in to see some of the uplifting messages they’ve already written for a fellow wolf in need! 💙)

Inspired by @MitaliPerkins’ book Home is in Between, these 1st graders made identity maps to share more about themselves. Many of us also call home “in between”! Thank you for sharing this book, @KPickelhaupt4.
